Sugaring Recipe

1 cup sugar
Half a lemon for the juice
1/4 cup honey
Drizzle of Molasses

Application method 1:  Powder the skin before applying sugar mixture.  Warm the product and apply using a spatula, with the hair growth.  Pull against the hair growth.

Application method 2:  Powder the skin before applying sugar mixture. Product can be applied by hand (wear gloves), at room temp going against the hair growth and removed in the direction of hair growth with a thicker application.  If necessary for smoother application, product can be warmed a bit.

Monday, August 20th, we begin our team effort to keep our room and salon clean and organized.  We have FOUR FABULOUS TEAMS!  Each team will rotate in our cleaning effort, beginning with Red Team, followed by Blue Team, Green Team, and Black Team.  Each Team will have High School and Adult Salon Leaders who will be responsible for organizing their team to achieve our goal of a classroom and salon we can be proud of.  Thank you to each and everyone of you for your participation. Please remember, completing your task and cleaning up after yourself (with a smile on your face) is part of your daily Employability Skills grade.

Hungry? Our Culinary Students Are There For You!

The bookstore will be serving omelets in the morning starting at 9am.  2 Egg omelet with cheese and bacon for $3.00 each.  Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like one, or two, or more, so that I may have them ready for you.  The Culinary Department is lending me a student to help prepare them.
